Session Description
The project aimed to address the digital divide and lack of knowledge surrounding Artificial Intelligence (AI). This was done by creating an online course designed to provide a basic understanding of AI and its practical applications. The course was designed for individuals with limited digital literacy skills and focused on simplicity and user-friendliness. The course was evaluated for usability and learning effectiveness with a total of 16 participants (n = 16) The usability testing showed positive results, with participants successfully completing tasks and providing feedback on areas for improvement. In terms of learning, the evaluation demonstrated an increase in knowledge and understanding of AI among participants. Overall, the course received positive feedback in terms of design, user-friendliness, and effectiveness. The instructional design process highlighted the importance of clear explanations, systematic learning, and user-centered design in creating effective instructional materials.
